There's just something about newborns. They'll get you every time. And this little man, baby B, he had us from the moment we walked through the door. His mom and dad are super laid back, and you can tell he is loved to the sky and back. Just a couple for the sneak peek... in this first one he looks like he's already smiling.
And in the second, well, I just love those feet... like a little froggy.
Fly Photography holiday mini-sessions are here... well, almost. This year's holiday minis will take place on September 13 at Stovall Park in Arlington from 10-2 and September 14 at the Arboretum in Dallas from 1-4.
Minis are a great, fun way to get your holiday gift and card photos done. Each session lasts 20 minutes, and you will receive ten proofs in an online gallery within two weeks of your mini-session. The cost is $50 and includes your session and one 8x10 of your choice. The minimum order is $100, and customers who spend $250 or more will receive a complimentary set of 4x6 proofs.
All holiday mini print orders are 10% off of our regular price list, and canvases are 20% off.
We will have an online gallery of custom holiday cards available for preview in early September.
For those customer interested in ordering our new hardback coffee table books for holiday gifts, you'll want to book a full session to have plenty of emails to select for your book. The time to book a session is now as we are booking into September.
We expect to book full for these mini-sessions and through November, so email early to reserve your spot! If you book a weekday session between now and September 20, you'll receive $25 off your session fee.
Our holiday order deadline this year is November 24 for prints, canvases and cards and November 1 for coffee table books.

That's what she said when we ducked into a diner in Deep Ellum because it was pouring rain. The diner was a bit of a dive. The coffee we ordered came in dirty cups. They didn't offer to comp it. We left. The rain stopped.
She had come all the way from Kentucky for this session, and it was off to a rough start.
And the story has a happy ending because this senior session went so well. M is beautiful, strong and full of great ideas. We laughed a lot and hung out a bit and are so excited about the images. Here's a sneak peek, M... more to come when we post your gallery!

Austin provided the perfect backdrop for the Ks session... They are young and fun and beautiful. We spent Sunday afternoon together, and the results are going to be amazing! This little sneak peek is the beginning of lots of great images...
This little miss belongs to some friends in Austin, and her eyes are absolutely amazing. And she just turned one. And says "hi" a lot... emphasis on the "hhhhhh..." sound. She is lovely and beautiful and so much fun.
It is our favorite thing to get to photograph the ones belonging to our friends... so today was a great day!
And here's what happens after a photo shoot when you go out to eat with a hungry baby...
This little man is so friendly, so kind, so very lovable. I met him back in April, and he was enamored with my (Erin's) blue jacket. I spent Thursday and Friday with him and his amazing parents, and on Friday he turned to me and asked if I'd brought my blue jacket. We weren't really sure that he'd remembered me.
We had to battle rain to get a few shots, but I hope this session captures the unique wonder of this little guy. I adore him. He is surely made for something great.
Beautiful, baby B. He charmed us. Really, what eight-week-old boy wants to spend the morning getting photographed? This kid smiled and slept and smiled some more. He was so calm, so precious, so perfect. We knew he was well loved, and his mom and grandma kept convincing us of just how special he is.

So we decided to do our work today at Krispy Kreme... Because it's yummy and the light is happy.

...Friends of ours... and friends of each other... We spent the afternoon at the Botanic Gardens yesterday and are just thrilled with the results. Can't wait to show you all of your prints!
